Founded in 2011, Kira is a Toronto-based AI and machine-learning tech company that enables enterprises to easily find and use trusted information from their documents. Following a US$50 million funding round and a series of recognitions (including being named one of the top 5 start-ups in Canada), it was clear that Kira needed an evolved look to support the company’s aspirations and impending hypergrowth.
To start, our in-house creative team of 4 collaborated with Jacknife Design to help establish and evolve our logo and brand story to better communicate the company’s overall mission, which is to provide enterprises with the ability to shine light on the important aspects of their documents.
With the evolved logo in place, our in-house team continued to develop a comprehensive brand system across all internal and external initiatives, ranging from sales and marketing to employee recruiting and experience initiatives, incorporating the use of a new typography system, bold colour palette, engaging illustration and photography.
